What this book is

The menopausal transition is usually explained as a hormone problem with a hormone answer. That framing is why so much midlife advice stops short. Hormones are changing, and so is stress physiology, and so is metabolism, all at the same time and all influencing each other. Address one and you get partial results. Address none of them accurately and you get the experience most women describe: doing everything right and feeling worse.

Meno-Laws starts with the body instead. Seven physiological truths about how the midlife body actually works, explained plainly. Then a sequenced program built on those truths, designed around how a midlife body responds now instead of how a younger one used to. It is written by a physician who has spent more than twenty years treating this transition and who has lived it, which shapes both what is in the book and how it sounds.

It is not a protocol. It is not a set of rules to follow perfectly and abandon when they fail.ย It is a map.

The Seven Meno-Laws

These are descriptions, not prescriptions. For many women, reading them for the first time is the clarifying moment. Here are two of the seven.

Meno-Law 1

Menopause is not just a hormone story.

The meno-years are a hormone, stress, and metabolism story, and all three systems are changing at once. Treating one system alone is why so many partial fixes stall.

Meno-Law 4

What used to work stops working.

The calorie math, the fasting window, the long hard workouts. They stop adding up because your body has genuinely changed. This is not personal failure.

There are five more.
